(Very) Brief Bio:

Born 1263 on the Isle Lewis off the west coast of Scotland.
Grandparents Norse. Norse Mother married a MacLeod clansman. Father moved the family to his mother’s people in the Highlands of County Caithness and Sutherland right after the Battle of Largs in 1263.
I married a MacKensie of Lovat in 1278, widowed in 1283.


I am now a novice scribe/illuminator/record keeper in the Grandchamp of Coldwood household with new Roman husband, intensely proud of my Gaelic/Norse heritage.
